Hogh Bay in Coll is an exposed beach break that has quite reliable surf and can work at any time of the year. The best wind direction is from the southeast with some shelter here from northeast winds. Most of the surf here comes from groundswells and the ideal swell angle is from the northwest.. Unlikely to be too crowded, even when the surf is up.
