Himalaya in West Uruguay is an exposed reef break that has reliable surf. Winter is the best time of year for surfing here. Works best in offshore winds from the north. Most of the surf here comes from groundswells and the optimum swell angle is from the south.. Best around high tide. Even when there are waves, it's not likley to be crowded. Take care of rocks in the line up.
