Visitor reviews of Hideaway surf break

  • October 27, 2011
    Chris from Australia

Just spent 10 days at Hideaway Resort. Been there before and had it good. This time no surf at all, howling south-easterlies 30 knots all day, every day. Southerly swell bumped up on Fri 21st Oct, probably 6-8ft but real strong cross-shore wind. Paddled out twice early morn on smaller days, but wind up by 7am - waste of time. Can definitely only surf if either side of high tide. Really disappointed.
