Gallows on the East Coast is an exposed reef and point break that has quite reliable surf. Winter is the best time of year for surfing here. Offshore winds are from the northwest. Tends to receive distant groundswells and the ideal swell direction is from the south southeast. A reef breaks left and there is a left hand point break too. A popular wave that can get growded. Watch out for rips, rocks, locals and sharks.
