Freswick Bay on the East Coast is a fairly exposed river break that has reasonably consistent surf. Winter and spring are the optimum times of year to visit. Ideal winds are from the west. Waves just as likely from local windswells as from distant groundswells and the ideal swell angle is from the north.There is a left breaking point here. Good surf at all stages of the tide. Unlikely to be too crowded, even when the surf is up. Watch out for rocks.
