Name: Farol
Type: reef
Reliability: inconsistent
Best Swell: S Offshore Wind: N

Farol in North Bahia is an exposed reef break that only works once in a while. Winter is the best time of year for surfing here. The best wind direction is from the north. Waves just as likely from local windswells as from distant groundswells and the best swell direction is from the south. There is a left hand reef break. Even when there are waves, it's not likley to be crowded. Beware of rocks, rips ,etc.
