Dungeons in Cape Peninsula is a sheltered reef break that only works once in a while. Winter is the best time of year for surfing here. Offshore winds blow from the northwest. Groundswells more frequent than windswells and the best swell direction is from the southwest. A right hand reef. Best around low tide. When it's working here, it can get crowded. Take care of seals and sharks.
