(Fiji – Kadavu Passage)

Surf-default-break-image
Name: Daku
Type: reef
Reliability: fairly consistent
Best Swell: S Offshore Wind: NE

Daku in Kadavu Passage is a sheltered reef break that has fairly consistent surf, although summer tends to be mostly flat. Ideal winds are from the northeast. Groundswells more frequent than windswells and the best swell direction is from the south. Both left and right reef breaks. Even when there are waves, it's not likley to be crowded. Submerged rocks are a hazard.
