Crummie's Bay in Donegal is a very sheltered beach break. Summer in particular tends to be flat. The best wind direction is from the south southeast with some shelter here from south winds. Waves just as likely from local windswells as from distant groundswells and the ideal swell direction is from the north northwest. The beach breaks offer lefts and rights. Good surf at all stages of the tide. An uncrowded break, even when it is working.
