Clovelly Bombie Reviews and Ratings

Visitor reviews of Clovelly Bombie surf break
May 26, 2010
Moggy from Australia
The left is generally the better wave. A fun little barrel under 4ft; but a short wave. At 6ft the wave runs over large exposed rock called the Pebble. On bigger swells separate reef out behind Pebble starts to break. This larger wave is ridden by some of the Maroubra Crew when the swell is over 3 metres. The sheer cliffs that line the shore inside the break are a true challenge, and being caught inside can be a harrowing if not life changing ordeal. Not for the faint hearted. Know your abilities before attempting to surf here!
