Caballeros in Lima is an exposed reef break that has quite reliable surf. Winter is the best time of year for surfing here. The best wind direction is from the east northeast. Groundswells more frequent than windswells and the ideal swell angle is from the south southwest. Both left (best) and right reef breaks.. Good surf at all stages of the tide. When the surf is up, it can get quite busy in the water. Hazards include urchins, rips and rocks.
