Coffin Bay Peninsula on the West Coast is an exposed reef break that has dependable surf. Winter is the best time of year for surfing here. Offshore winds are from the east with some shelter here from south winds. Tends to receive distant groundswells and the ideal swell angle is from the west southwest. A choice of left and right reefs. Good surf at all stages of the tide. Unlikely to be too crowded, even when the surf is up. Take care of rocks, sharks,isolations.
