Busua Beach on the Gold Coast is an exposed beach and reef break that has quite consistent surf. The surf tends to be best in the spring. Offshore winds blow from the north. Windswells and groundswells in equal measure and the ideal swell direction is from the south southwest. Waves at the beach break both left and right and a right hand reef break too. It very rarely gets crowded here. Watch out for rocks.

They are also significant for windsurfers and other water users that tend to venture further off-shore.
