Boomerang Beach(North) in Port Macquarie is a fairly exposed beach break that has fairly consistent surf. Summer offers the optimum conditions for surfing. Works best in offshore winds from the northwest. Groundswells and windswells are equally likely and the ideal swell direction is from the northeast. The beach break offers mainly left hand waves. Good surf at all stages of the tide. Rarely crowded here. Watch out for sharks.

North Boomerang offers a beautiful lefty that can jack up fairly close to the rocks with a sucky take off. Easy to get slotted from take off. Ride length varies with size and tides. Usually best around the 4-6 foot mark.

South Boomerang is more a rock shelf and is best in southerly swell direction I have surfed this in 10+ feet
