Bocana del Cojimies in Manabi is an exposed beach break that has fairly consistent surf and can work at any time of the year. The best wind direction is from the east. Tends to receive distant groundswells and the best swell direction is from the northwest. Waves at the beach break both left and right. Surfable at all stages of the tide. It very rarely gets crowded here. Hazards include sharks and rocks.
