Bikini in South Uruguay is an exposed beach and point break that has very reliable surf and works all around the year. The best wind direction is from the north northeast. Tends to receive distant groundswells and the ideal swell direction is from the south. The beach break provides left and right handers and also offers a left hand point break too. Good surf at all stages of the tide. A popular wave that can get growded. Take care of urchins, rips, rocks and locals.

FEATURE UPDATE: we now show red swell icons for 'open sea' swells that are travelling in an unfavourable direction for the surf break. In places, these swells may still wrap around coastlines and produce smaller waves at some breaks. They are also significant for windsurfers and other water users that tend to venture further off-shore.
