Barra do Sai in Santa Caterina is an exposed beach break that has reasonably consistent surf, although summer tends to be mostly flat. The best wind direction is from the northwest. Groundswells are more common than windswells and the best swell direction is from the south. Waves at the beach break both left and right. It's sometimes crowded here. Be wary of rips - they make surfing here dangerous.
