  1. Sunsetclub_2 Sunset Club plenty of swell pushing through, should be some rideable waves.
  2. Porthcawl-surf---porthcawl-surf-2 PorthcawlSurf (School & Hire) 8.45am Wednesday. Not good. Rest Bay is about 2ftish but a sloppy mess. Coney Beach is flat. Not good for the rest of the day.
  3. Surf-report-_-ma-simes-surf-shop Ma Simes Surf hut: ‘Whitesands Bay: Bit messy 1 ft waves today with moderate onshore winds. Not a lot of surf this morning with a lot of northerly winds and swell. Looks like the waves will remain fairly small for most of the day although some messy 1-2 ft waves will get pushed into the far south end of the beach, especially while the tide is out. 1 ft tomorrow, 1-2 ft Friday.’
  4. Westcostsurf West Coast Surf: ‘Porth Neigwl: It is flat at low tide this morning. The wind is moderate out of the north west.’

Information about the Barmouth Surf forecast

The above surf forecast table for Barmouth provides essential information for determining whether the surfing conditions will be good over the next 6 days. A general guide to surfing at Barmouth can be found by selecting the local surf guide option on the grey menu. Our Barmouth surf forecast is unique since it includes wave energy (power) that defines the real feel of the surf rather than just the height or the period. If you surf the same spot (Barmouth) regularly then make a mental note of the wave energy from the surf forecast table each time you go. Very soon you may start to choose your surf days based on the wave energy alone combined with our forecast of favourable offshore wind conditions. Our star ratings will help here and of course you will also find the usual wave height and period predictions on our surf forecasts as well as a full break down of the swell components under our advanced users option (to reveal that, click the little Einstein character under the tide times).

Further information to help with frequently asked questions about our surf forecast for Barmouth may be found under the help tab on the top menu and also by moving your mouse over the question marks on the surf forecast table itself.
