Baie des Singes in Antanosy is a reasonably exposed reef break that has quite reliable surf. Winter is the optimum time of year for surfing here. Works best in offshore winds from the northwest. Clean groundswells prevail and the ideal swell angle is from the south. Reef breaks provide lefts and rights. Best around high tide. Even when there are waves, it's not likley to be crowded. Beware of rips and rocks.
