A-Bay in South Australia - Yorke Peninsula is a fairly exposed beach break that has quite reliable surf and can work at any time of the year. The best wind direction is from the west. Groundswells more frequent than windswells and the optimum swell angle is from the southwest. The beach breaks offer lefts and rights. The quality of the surf isn't affected by the tide. Even when there are waves, it's not likley to be crowded. Beware of rips and sharks.
